Currently using a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Need to ask sigh here whether connecting it to an external monitor 24/7 will cause any damage to the hardware or not? Thanks a lot blush.gif

Will it affect the battery or GPU or any parts?

This is apple yo. BAttery, i dont think so, if u look at the tips how take care for macbook battery, some suggested to let your macbook charge all the time, to reduce the lifespan of batteries in charge cycles.

Once your macbook into sleep mode, everything will stop working.

My only experience was my charger stop working after did not turn off for 2 weeks straight. Other parts, battery, keyboard, LCD, speakers all are working just fine

after getting a replacement charger, so far no problem yet. *touch wood

Such functionality is basic and it shouldnt harm anything on your MBP. Its like a normal PC desktop connecting 24/7 to its monitor from its Graphic Card.
