Hi all,

What are the price that differentiate between 4k gaming and usual gaming experience in ultra settings?
I wish to have a 4k gaming desktop soon or later, system must be able to run 2018 games on high settings, can anyone mind to build for me a 4k rig?

Whats the minimum price point to achieve that without overdoing?
System should last me 3 years. Thank you in advance.

Minimum price point would be RM 10K without the monitor.

Because to play games in 4K requires a powerful spec.

Some modification I will make for that will be:
- 32GB 2666 DDR4 RAM for Intel system
- additional 512GB SATA SSD for quick loading games.

Did you really think a gtx1080ti can deliver AAA titles with 4k60 min at ultra setting?

Because 2x GTX 1080 Ti alone costs you A LOT of money already.

You still need a good processor and PSU along with it, not forgetting aboard that allows the GPU to go at good speed.

That 2x GTX 1080 Ti needs you to allocate around RM 8,000 already.

People who tell you GTX 1080 Ti is for 4K gaming probably don't play enough or play games at 30 fps or less. LOL or perhaps old games, and games with low requirement engine.

Take it from the guy above, RM 10k is bare minimum and that also is just a single GTX 1080 Ti setup that is likely to be insufficient.

Agree with goldfries opinion. 4k gaming is not for 'overdoing' cost.

Thanks for the help guys, after a while I decided to go with ps4 pro, maybe after a long period I may come back to pc. Considering the value from ps4 pro point of view I gain a lot of benefit from there, pc are still a higher tier now. Thanks for all the feedbacks.
