Hello everybody..
I'm currently using a sedan Honda accord year 2011.
Since my family has expanded, I'm thinking of moving to a MPV.
With budget of 210K , in my mind I'm thinking of Toyota Estima 2016 or Honda Odyssey RC1.
Here , if you guys don't mind, can you share your opinions about my dilemma..
Or it's ok if your suggestion other than Estima price Odyssey.. maybe an Alphard or a Vellfire..but still below 210K budget..

Thanks in advance..

Assuming all of them brand new, just check the service schedule throughout the warranty period.

Bring your family members test drive them, I think that will be the best answer you could get. You are not gonna buy a car that they dun like, right?

You can also look into Kia Carnival, Hyundai Starex, Maxus G10, Sharan (if the discount is huge now)?

Thanks bro..yeah..need to test drive them later...

Odyssey is bumpy at the back seat, it is going to be a concern since u migrate from the comfortable accord. The fc around 9km/l. Test drive before you decide. I am driving 2014 model.

2014 model is RC or RB 3 ya bro?
I love RB model, but it's already too far behind la bro.now 2018, I'm afraid major change needed later on..

Heard alot that estima got many problems about the gearbox..that's why I'm looking for the opinion from this group.. hehe

Odyssey - driver oriented, smallest among all, exclusivity  (the least on the road i think).

Vell/Alphard - most spacious, comfortable, quite unstable at high speed, feels luxurious for certain variants (pilot seats, home theater etc)

estima - somewhere in between the other two. It can carry 7/8 easily with a huge amount of trunk (bigger than Alphard/vell), more planted on the road, decent fc.

There is no winner here. You can only opt for the best if you know your needs. Those mpvs are meant for different group of people. I personally lean towards the estima as it is quite fun to drive and practical at the same time. However i think the latest facelift of estima isn't really worth its price. Its only got a new look but everything else is pretty much the same. 2014 NFL estima is the best looking among all in my opinion. Market price is around 160-170k for 2014/15 premium.

Wow..nice explanation..thanks bro, u helped me a lot..yeah, 2016 estima the new look price is quite high..from my view, it's not big different from previous model..few of my friends said estima faced many problems on the gearbox..thats worry me..2014 /15 premium models , I'll survey for it. Tq

little experience to share. bought a recond 2.4L estima ACR50 about a month ago, and drove it to genting last week with my family, 4 adults, 3 kids, nicely occupied. smooth drive up to cable car station, no straggle in slope. After dropping of all the family members to take the cable car up to top hill, i alone drive the car up to sky avenue, the driving experience was even better, can easily overtake most of the cars, smooth cornering( maybe was due to that i had installed ultra racing bar and spring buffer).

Before this, i was comparing serena C27 with 2013 estima. chose estima is because of its outlook, built quality and also larger engine capacity.

Wow..nice explanation bro..I love the Odyssey rb3 model.. but it's already too far behind year 2013..that's y I put estima , Alphard and Vellfire(arround 210K) as my second option.. RC 1, I still need more samples with bidykits to Poisson me..
