For some financial institutions even manpower companies may have to submit background checks for the contractors they provide. They will then have your personal data after the background check which means they are again required by law to ensure that there is signed PDPA. Unfortunately if you refuse then you cannot be hired. Again this is from the perspective of financial institutions in Malaysia only |
