Hi all,

I am a newbie here, just trying to start to involve in stock trading.
Just wanna ask if there is any recommendation for online stock trading, which all processes are purely online including registration/open an account?
I had tried to apply for Maybank's, but in the end still need to go to their branch for final process.
Having a job right now, it is hard for me to do so during weekdays.

So any recommendation which I can do everything through online only?
So far what I know (which might be wrong) is
1. Malaysia Stock - Rakuten Trade
2. US Stock - eToro

Thanks in advance.

Don't use etoro for US. That's CFD. Not a real stock broke. Use interactive broker, 8 securities.

Yea, I understand it will be fast if I go to the bank to do so.
Unfortunately, I am working in outskirt area with no own transport.
So it would be hard for me to do so.

Tried to went to the Maybank once when my company was off.
Unfortunately the officer was off on that day too.
Might need to wait till another day with similar circumstances.

You are buying CFD. Learn the difference between CFDs and traditional stocks.

Unless I take a one day leave to go to the branch.
As working weekdays 5 days a week with no own transport, really hard for me to go to the available branch (1.5h by public transport).

You have no choice. Bursa rules require you to present at the branch for verification. You can apply for Mplus via online, then go to their branch for verification.

Per contract - for example, you buy stock A at 10.00 am, then you buy again the same stock A again at 3.00 pm within the same day. The brokerage charge only one time.

Per order - you buy twice, you will be charged twice

Hope this help

Wow this is news to me, didn't know there are differences in how brokers charge clients commission.

Would definitely save a lot for day traders if charge by contract. Thanks for the good info.

When u say buy twice meaning buy different stock on that day right? Because your first example also buy twice but same stock at 10am then 3pm.

trade crypto better than stock, more volatile, less commission, no regulation to read, less hassle, more profit https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_eth

trade stock u will slowly ate away from the 0.6% per trade commission

not all prefers volatility. some just prefer to keep for dividend.

comparing stocks and crypto is like comparing apple and orange.

and not all commission charged by brokers are 0.6%.
