Just now i try to apply sirim e permit for my laptop that be detained by customs

and suddenly their response is i cant do the permit anymore since my quota only limit for 12 permit,

the problem is i dunno

they ask me to return the item to sender which is located at USA



anyone can help me with this??

No, i never heard of this, please ask the officer provide black and white as you mention when searching online doesnt found it.

If there is such rules, you getting 12 laptop within a year might be the cause that permit not approve.

Kindly be informed, your application can’t be accepted due to maximum limit for 12 units has been done for this year 2018.



For your information, quantities allowed to bring in Malaysia is 12 units only for a year. We can accept 12 units only. The rest you have to send it back to the sender.

the parcel and k1 is under my name 😂😂😂😭😭😭

the only solution they provide is return to sender and reship back with different name...so lol😭😭😭

Maybe if that someone give a supporting letter and it might work? Of course that someone will also need to register with SIRIM also.

you need proper device Type Approval if you intend to import in quantities,
special K1 permit is for you to import sample and then apply proper type approval
