If scvhost.exe, its probably malware. If svchost.exe, it is system files. Maybe u need to fix ur registry or startup program.

try to fix the startup 1st. run msconfig > startup tab> untick the name that match scvhost or any command that run scvhost. would be better if u run on safe mode. mostly virus, they dont run in safe mode. fyi u better ask here la. http://forum.lowyat.net/TechnicalSupport

hi guys! u know what? i was succesfully manage to solve the problem.. thanks to u all.. here's wat i did:
START > RUN > REGEDIT and i search scvhost.exe with EDIT > FIND and i change the scvhost.exe name to svchost.exe to every single registry that contain the scvhost.exe name which is the malware at both value name and value data.. that's why my windows keep asking the both scvhost.exe and svchost.exe files before.. i found out that the malware (scvhost.exe) is deleted by my AVG Anti-Spyware.. and the malware before this they did very nasty job that was changing my registry that contains the system file (svchost.exe) to the malware name (scvhost.exe).. i really appreciate to u guys who gave the 'hints' to solve the problem by myself.. i am very satisfy after solving my own pc problem.. thanks a lot guys see ya Added on May 22, 2007, 5:10 am QUOTE(ijan_hackers @ May 22 2007, 05:05 AM) try to fix the startup 1st. run msconfig > startup tab> untick the name that match scvhost or any command that run scvhost. would be better if u run on safe mode. mostly virus, they dont run in safe mode. fyi u better ask here la. http://forum.lowyat.net/TechnicalSupport lol thanks again.. i already fix the problem This post has been edited by maxizanc: May 22 2007, 05:10 AM |
