sup guys, did anyone bought this xiaomi AI assistant 小米小愛同學 from china to malaysia?

I am wondering, can we use it in malaysia?
*

just tested my xiaoai mini, it work but command must be in Chinese.
Also there are some lag in answering u after u post question to it. Maybe because we are in Malaysia and the command need to be searched for answer in China server so it is slower. (don know whether change DNS help or not)
anyway, at the price of RMB169 (ard RM110) it is a superb quality Bluetooth speaker with AI assist.
mostly i use it to listen music and control xiaomi device (air purifier, few smart plug for light, dehumidifier, electric cooker).

coverage is consider good as im staying in condo and it can be detected anywhere in the living room( i put the xiao ai in living room)

Hope the above help. icon_idea.gif

Yes, it’s helpful because my main concern is the speaker not allow us to connect to China server. Did u use QQ music to play song?
*
Yes, it allow to connect China server, but response is somehow slower (don know is becuase our Malaysia server block China or China server block Malaysia)
also QQ player can be used. music are played from QQ. got US billboard songs also...
asking xiao ai to search for english song is a bit hard as she understand mandarin well only... english i have not really test it out

i am letting go my xiao ai (mini) speaker, any taker pls offer me / trade with xiao ai (big). used less than a month.
reason to sell because currently stay in condo but will be moving to new landed house soon, so wan to buy xiao ai (big) instead.
but this xiao ai mini definitely can cover up a normal condo living room.

I still prefer to get the big one 😂 but u seems very happy with the xiao ai or else u won’t be looking for the big one 👍🏻
*
yes, maybe because i used lots of xiaomi devices. currently got 5 smart plugs, air purifier that can be control using the xiao ai.
hopefully more devices will be added into the xiao ai command system. will be getting smart wall switch next... hehe...

Wa, u really a big mi fans

Actually is their product reliable and durable?
*
don u use any XiaoMi devices?
so far none of the xiaomi devices i bought is broken except normal wear n tear.
i would said their quality is on par or slightly lower than Apple. some said XiaoMi is the Apple from China... rclxs0.gif

Hi, if i may ask, how do you used the mi power plug ya? cause i have one, and i need to put 2 travel adapter for it to work with our local appliance, or you just use it for china appliance? thanks
*
my house wall plug is universal type then my appliance also from Taobao so i wont need any adapter.
even if i need also will try to limit to 1. else the plug look very funny.
