Perhaps beside the post number, can include the name of poster and time.

Author and post dates are included as metadata. The better RSS readers will display them

The author and time shows up fine in Google Reader. You should send an e-mail to the author of your favourite RSS reader and bug them to implement RSS metadata properly.

Yups, I've fulfilled my part of the contract.. it's up to your RSS reader to fulfill the other
If you really can't change readers or the developers refuse to add support, I suggest that you use a service like Yahoo Pipes that post-processes RSS feeds into something suitable for yourself. |

QUOTE(amir89 @ May 23 2007, 12:38 PM) Can you please explain what you are trying to ask here?QUOTE(rayanne @ May 23 2007, 05:55 PM) RSS feed allow you to view "feeds" in a single program (aka RSS Reader) The easiest example would be News site such as The Star Online. Their feed for most viewed nation news feed: http://thestar.com.my/rss/mostview/nation.xml This RSS Reader will automatically get the latest update of the feed, so you don't have to go to the website (www.thestar.com.my) to manually check for updates. This can save a lot of time if you are monitoring several websites. Attached thumbnail(s) |

I think I fixed it. It's due to FB's insistence on unique URLs for each post, which I didn't provide.
