Lately my work required me to carry 2nd phone number. Doesn't prefer putting dual sim on my current phone as I will shut down the work phone at night. 2 options to consider: repair my broken Nexus 4 screen which cost around RM150, or buy a cheap smartphone around RM400. See the spec on paper the old Nexus 4 still can compete with those less than RM400 smartphone, except for LTE, which I don't use much as the phone will be on WiFi most of the time.
Need advise on which is the better option.

Just get a brand new device.

I suggest top up a little to get Xiaomi Mi A1 or Xiaomi Redmi 5.

Just disable the 2nd SIM slot when you are off work.
Coming from someone who has been doing that for 5years, no point carrying 2 phones.
Now with Whatsapp/Wechat and whatnot with dual app functions, carry one and never looked back.

May I suggest the Sony Xperia X Performance
RM380/RM420
Snapdragon 820
Android 8.0
Great camera for video(seriously the EIS on this rivals the Google Pixel)
IP68 Dust and Water resistance
Screen has slight screen retention(no, it's not burn in, and it's not a big problem)
Hybrid Dual SIM card

The package doesn't include earphones, cases and cables though, but seriously this phone is bang for buck like the Nexus 4. I bought one, and I am loving it.
