I log in Okex and saw a message that says they do not serve a few countries that include Malaysia.
Does anyone use Okex in the last few days from a computer in Malaysia? I want to know if there is problem depositing, trading and withdrawing coins.

The same message came out. I had registered for an OKEX account several months ago but have not used it. Was starting to get interested when I saw its daily volume. Guess I'll just stick to the other exchanges that still allow us from Malaysia: Binance, Bittrex, Poloniex and Huobi.

By the way, I wonder what happens should a Malaysian user has cryptos in OKEX. If he can't log in, then how to withdraw these?
Yet another lesson in the importance of keeping coins at our own wallets, not exchanges. Despite the convenience at the latter (faster to respond in either selling or buying when there's a sudden market move). Will be really leceh if we get caught high and dry when exchanges decided on something that negatively affect us.

Getting Started

|
I emailed them because I can no longer login due to the grey out "Malaysia (+60)" and I didn't bind any of my email address prior to this (extremely important for withdrawals). They told me to withdraw any of my balances and then notify them so that they can freeze my account permanently thereafter.
I'm still in the middle of the process to add my email address to my account. Adding an email address is required for withdrawal. But I'm facing an issue where I cannot get any SMS code due to OKEX system not registering our Malaysian number properly such as 0123456789, instead, they registered 123456789 into their system by ignoring the "0", this makes it impossible for me to receive any verification codes they wanted during the process of adding my email address.
Even if they allow Malaysians, I don't foresee I'll use their site due to the complications in all aspects.
I regret not moving my coins out when I first bought them. I'm not trading them anyway. Sigh.
Now I'm waiting for them to give me a solution. They should have made obvious announcements rather than blocking us from logging in just like that.
