Of the 2 games (Alan Wake and Quantum Break) Remedy made after their Max Payne franchise, I still prefer Alan Wake. Was not too impressed with Quantum Break. Played the latter and the gameplay is alright, but the drag are the live-action cutscenes which are 'streamed' from a server rather than fully installed into a hard disk. I'm using a TIME 1Mbps connection and I still encounter buffering from time to time.
I understand their reasoning of not compiling it into the entire game due to its size, but if that was their main concern, then might as well do the cutscenes in-game, which will save a lot of disk space. I may revisit the latter at some point, but it depends on whether I have the time or not. Too busy with work these days.
As for this Control, can't say that I'm too interested in it. Comes across as kinda weird, and it seems like Remedy's direction is to explore the supernatural themes in their games.
