Hope I don't get reported for this.
But around my area, during Muslim Friday prayers I noticed (for quite some now since forever) that 80% of them on bike otw or back from the masjid do not wear helmets and just rely on their songkok.
Maybe the distance is near but why risk it even more? Is it not seen as an issue? All close one eye? Allowed then?
Why not ride with helmet and swap with songkok after arrive destination? Why show a not so good example?
Sekian.

QUOTE(alteclp @ Jun 9 2018, 02:05 AM) how about singh... ts is fuckin ignorant of course I did think about the Singhs before opening this possible backlash thread. Singhs are protected by law. But if in my case presented here is governed by law then I have nothing else to say. This post has been edited by Imagination *-*: Jun 9 2018, 02:10 AM

I'm thinking for their sake. What if something happens? The helmet is your last defense against such potential dangers near or far.

That situation can understand since it only happens once a week. My area is the worst everyday there is underage kids riding motorcycles without helmet and this been going on for a long time.

Well I hope one day these can change. I believe it's doable & hopefully someday someone with authority looks into it. Maybe it might take some sacrifice(as in an accident pertaining to this) to wake some people up.

My area is the worst everyday there is underage kids riding motorcycles without helmet and this been going on for a long time. Should not be complacent although once a week. If the children sees their fathers not wearing helmet during that once per week, they might think that it isn't very important and just as a rule to avoid tickets and thus, the riding everyday without helmet (not the sole contributor though). The children needs to understand that this is for their very sake. It is the last guard against danger (for your head at least).

Thank you all. Just wanted to highlight albeit on this issue. Looks like it isn't governed by law and is a norm that we close one eye (including myself) for years.
Hope it'll change in the near future.
