its just "make over/makeup" not full reno. their package is optimized for rental owners. lol

Depends on 2 things.

Quality of the wallpaper and skillset of the installer.

I've seen good quality wallpaper that's over 30 years old and was pasted on a plywood backing rather than the skim coat of the wall.

I've seen wallpapers that fail after 2 years, fading of the colour due to UV exposure and poor glue quality.

Seen bad wallpaper jobs that did not last 6 months as well, moisture damage from condensation.

Skill set of the installer? Air bubbles are never a good thing. A lazy installer would skimp on the glue as well, if they are using a glue that requires both surfaces to have glue applied to it and they don't follow this simple instruction then be prepared for the wall paper to last a year MAX.

Most common leaks in a condo are from the windows/balcony, kitchen and bathroom floors and walls that separate a bathroom.

The other type of moisture that kills wall papers are damp and mould especially in condos where the room windows are facing a void and no sun comes in.

Quite a common thing these days to wrap the plaster board with wall paper though a bit of a stupid idea as the purpose of this plaster board almost always being white in colour is to reflect light.
