Author's Note: The original review can be found at my blog - BlackVue DR900S-2CH Unboxing @ JayceOoi.com.

Yeah… Check out the latest 4K Ultra HD dashcam from BlackVue. Yup, BlackVue DR900S-2CH is the star of the day. Dual channel with 4K 8-megapixel sensor front camera and 1080P rear camera with 2.1 megapixels Sony STARVIS CMOS Sensor. Loaded with latest H.265 / HEVC video codec that have better image quality but use lesser storage. In addition, it supports wireless connection through smartphone. And over the cloud storage as well. Alright, let’s get started and unbox it…

HDR Night Vision Mode

That’s it for now. Thanks for watching...

I own it. But didn't turn on parking mode on 650 model - scare overheat. Will try on 900S and see. smile.gif

Korean dashcam is famous for their auto parking mode. Getting this rm2K+ dashcam and don't use the parking mode, is a bit of waste of the dashcam.

BlackVue boasts operational temps as -20 °C − 70 °C (-4 °F − 158 °F) so no need to worry about overheating.

Park inside building / shady place still okay. Under bright sun directly = no no for me.

It's using a capacitor... Not lithium battery. My Thinkware F800 Pro, daily parked outside also no overheat issue. Tested the DR750S for 2 weeks also no issues. Unless your car no heat rejection tinting then can be considered to be the ultimate heat test laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Your DR650GW is considered a previous model ma.. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I am interested to know about the cloud feature from this dashcam.
Does the cloud feature works in Malaysia?
Does it need subscription to use the cloud? Even the basic feature?

Bought one unit for my family member, one thing I noticed that the voice is very soft even I max out the volume.

I bought along with "Snap N Go" adapter, so no need to deal with nasty hardwiring job on the fuse box to support parking mode.
