Park inside building / shady place still okay. Under bright sun directly = no no for me. Don't own previous model. But surely better than my DR650GW.
It's using a capacitor... Not lithium battery. My Thinkware F800 Pro, daily parked outside also no overheat issue. Tested the DR750S for 2 weeks also no issues. Unless your car no heat rejection tinting then can be considered to be the ultimate heat test
