Go ulu2 buy 2nd hand la. Ford ranger maintenance quite high. Dmax more economy. If you in between go for hilux.

I drive a 9 yo mazda BT50, 214k km on the clock and still going strong. Maybe need to change absorber soon but thats like after 9 years of use devil.gif
Never changed anything much besides engine oil and the usual maintenance. OCI 10k so its pretty economical. Mainly its the same chassis as the ford ranger, cosmetics by mazda.

So far only changed bearings and U joint stuff. Seems like things like to fail after going through river crossing, maybe masuk air rclxub.gif

I think the thing about 4WD is that it needs to be used once in awhile if not jam.. so once a month or so i'll take her offroad or to a loose gravel carpark to engage the 4WD

All I can say,, Dmax are reailable , fuel efficiency and durability,
And now Isuzu are given RM 11k rebate and 0% GST price are worth to own..

Cons as Dmax only less HP compare to other pickup truck..
But honestly ask you,, do you always excelerate top speed for each ride ?
