Just wondering, between these two vehicle. Which one is more worth buying in terms of the following:

1. Second hand value
2. Maintenance (pricey spare parts etc)
3. Performance

Choose Vios, becos of the new engine they give will give May be next year kot.
Can consider pao teng aka new proton, but buy only next year.

Never buy new car for lower maintenance cost.
It'll cost you more unless you choose not to service at manufacturer service center (warranty void).
For Honda city, it'll cost you RM1000 to RM1500 per year. My 20yo Honda city never spend more than RM800 per year for maintenance.

for about rm80k plus u can get a display unit renault fluence. 5 years/ 100k km service only cost rm3500.

There's always promotions that gives free service and maintenance.

Nobody buy new car to save maintenance cost, that's just silly. Maintenance cost is always part of the ownership cost, whether is expensive or not it depends on your wallet. If you have no money, then everything will be expensive.
