If you have previously set up like PSU 500W, Harddisk and Casing can fit that RM2500.00 budget.

New Proc, Mobo, RAM & GC = RM2500.00 right now

Cheap new 24" monitor is under RM500.00 and Keyboard & Mouse combo can get under RM100.00

Thank you!

Is it possible if I combine buying from both store depending which one selling cheaper parts? Or will get special price buying one shot from same store?

Or me and my bro planning to buy each parts one by one each month, then after 7 months once he finished his SPM he can enjoy his completed gaming PC, is that viable? sweat.gif

Or does these store offer interest free payment by CC? Which is better?

One more thing, the quoted price, already include OS?

If you buy parts from different store, you have to assemble it yourself. Buying everything from same shop may get your some discount. Don't forget to haggle.

Prices could change every month. CPU, graphic card and motherboard may be different.

If you buy online, some sites provide it. Pretty sure some Lazada seller has it. You have to ask around for physical shops.

I see, thanks for the advice!

Another newbie question,. in all of the suggestions above, does it already include the cooking fan? I'm guessing i'm guessing it comes with the GPU right?

So for the rest of the components like CPU, need to buy extra fan for cooling?

Yes, it includes fan. Just use it first. If it is hot, buy more fans or upgrade the casing.

Yes, czone does do PC assembly. I buy almost exclusively from them. They built a system without HDD and another one with external ram I got from lelong.

Hey guys, so SPM is almost over and me and my bro are planning to buy the gaming PC next week.

Since it has been a few months since the above recommendations was made, just wondering if these are still the best option for gaming rig around 2.5k budget or are there better option now? Many thanks!

Ignore GTX 1060 Mini and get Galax instead. Mini heats up faster.

i3-8100 is now RM499, 8GB DDR4-2400 is now RM250. Use that savings and get Tecware Nexus M TG case at RM139 for improved cooling.

Yeah luckily! Kingston 8gb 2400mhz Ram is OK too right? Since based on C zone piece list that's the cheapest compared to G Skill and Crucial.

Btw TristanX just noticed C zone is not selling Galax GPU, if I get the non mini Zotac 1060 6gb, is it as good as Galax's?

Also before this I was planning of just using a 32" TV that I owned as the PC's monitor. But if I can get a good enough monitor for below 1k I might consider getting monitor instead.

Anything that isnt "Mini" is cooler. Viewnet is selling Galax GTX 1060 6GB EXOC at RM1099.

Yes, Kingston is good too. Whichever offers the cheapest one go for it wink.gif
