Tested the JPJ ebid this week, bid open on 21st and closed on 25th midnight. Result out straight away and I can register it from today. Valid for 12 months. Got a running number which I wanted and its RM300 + RM10. Now, hopefully they'll open this for other states too. Eyeing RADxxxx number!

Use JPJ ebid lah Last weekend fighting until the end, but kalah at the last minute. Hahaha.

JPJ ebid doesn't require mysikap registration, as long as your IC no is in JPJ database, you are okay.

This is my second time bidding, the first time I was bidding on VDN number and last weekend for VDP. The result came out few hours after the bid is closed. So, for VDP number, it was out early Monday morning and you can straight away register your car once you got the result.

It still not open to other states yet, but from the last update, it seems to be able to. They probably just testing to see how the system can cope with the traffics.

RM10 to register for the number you want to bid. You need to put your bid in. The value of the bid depends on the number, running number minimum is RM300, etc...

You need to top up the bid to stay as winner. So, everytime you got overbid, you need to put a new bid in.

The last VDP bidding, I lost at the very last minute. Haha.

Now open for KET, VDQ and VDR.

If you put your bid, it will show your bid ranking. If you're the only bidder, your kedudukan will be the first. However, if there are two more bidders who outbid you, yours will be no 3. Etc.

BTW, the system won't allow you to put lower than the current bid. So if someone put RM5000 on the number you trying to bid, the next value you can put is RM5040.

The numbers go to ebid, then open to mysikap, then open to normal channel.

You need to enter your card information first, so you need to bid it somehow. It will not be enough to do all that within a minute. I tried it before, 3 minutes before 23:59:58, but someone put the winning bid rightly at 23:59. No time to react after I know mine was pushed 2nd, clicking the enter bid does nothing. Haha.

3 minutes is minimum if you put your first bid since you need to enter your credit card details and get approval from your bank using TAC or OTP codes. Suggest to put a lower bid first, get everything done and put the highest bid during the last minute. The subsequent bid on the number doesn't require you to enter your card details or getting bank approval.

Every single number you want to bid, you need to do at least two transactions, one to pay the RM10, second to put the minimum bid. After you put the minimum bid, the next amount you bid doesn't require you to enter CC details etc.

1. Subsequent bidding on the same number, you don't need to enter any CC information.
2. You can't see how many people bidding on the same number. You can only show your position on the current bid.

That's from my experience bidding on two different biddings. Wasted RM10 on few numbers to check on how low was the bidding on those numbers too.

I got one running number (4 digit) from VDN, lost in special 2 digit number for VDP. Since I've registered my car, no more looking for a new number now.

You won't believe how much people are willing to pay for a number plate No wonder they managed to haul in millions from each open bid.

Check the inbox, you should've the letter ready for download by now. If not, wait for a while. During my VDN bid, it went out at 5AM the next day, for VDP bid, the unsuccesful bid result out by 11AM.

I think it depends on the states, for Wilayah, yes you can bid from 1-9999, but looking at the tender calendar, KET offered 2-9999. So no 1 probably reserved.

The official result will be out the next day, so, if it ends on 21st, you'll get your result on 22nd. You can register the number on 22nd already.

You need to buy a new car or motorbike, then transfer the old number to the car/bike and new number to the old car. You can't bid a new number and transfer it to you old car.

Went to JPJ Manjalara trying to apply for mysikap ID, the officer said I need to go to Wangsa Maju. Adeh!
