If there is a new number, it will shown there in the calendar.

As of this week, no e-bid number is offered.

If you want it now, you need to go to JPJ, you can search for the number you want there. Probably could get cheaper on certain numbers compared to ebid. Ebid is new, and only opened for few numbers up to now. It started with Putrajaya, then KL and last week or so, Kedah. Nothing for this week.

VDT is up for ebid auction this week, ends on Monday 23:59:59. No 2-9999, it seems no 1 already booked.

I am new to this ebid thingy. Does it replaced the old school mv.10 form tender process that drop into tender box at wangsa maju jpj? Or the old school tender box style still available? Then how are they combine the tender result between the mv.10 form blind box tender with this jpjebid? Thanks.

Sorry, my bad. It should starts on Aug 1st and not this weekend.

On how different it is with the old school method, I have no idea really. It seems that the number that go through ebid will be open as running number I guess. I couldn't see any VDN on the road other than on mine, that more than 3 weeks already.

Yes, you can transfer your current number to the new car and put the new purchase number on your old car.
Get your new car salesman to do the transfer for you.

5 years ago the salesman changed me RM500+ for the transfer. Now not sure. You have to ask your salesman.

It cant be 2 to 3 years. It would required at least 5 years. From D to N is another 9 alphabet away. If one year one middle alphabet. Also need 9 years.
