I search the account she transferred to at http://ccid.rmp.gov.my/semakmule/
saw this account has been reported 4 times.

So, GG, 600myr gone.

Yes, best to make a police report.
And if ibilik refuse to do anything to help your gf, lodge a report to consumer tribunal and the media.
Let them feel the wrath of the people.

Hey guys, the person seems like keeping on the scam, and plan to meet at a later date.
I am afraid this would lead to deeper scam, i have prove that the account number that he is using is reported to police, i have prove that the photo he posted is stolen from another reputable AirBNB user's house.
What I am afraid is that he is planning a robbery on that day, or he is planning to scam the deposit also the first month rent.
I saw scam like they only rent the place and will move out soon, then they scam new renter then disappear, meaning they fake themselves as house owner.

Any advice? how can i confirm he is the legit house owner?
I already ask for his IC number and also a contract from him with his IC number on it.

Is a well known scam. They rent via airbnb and then re rent out fully furnish to you. Airbnb units sure look nice one.
After getting the deposit from you then they will chow. Next day you know, the actual real owner will appear. tongue.gif

If he is owner, then the utility bills must bear his name as well. Apart from that you can ask for the management billing, cukai majlis bandaraya bill, all should bear the owner name as well.
