AI face unlock or whatever they name it is a gimmick, of course it will work by unlocking you phone but how it works is just basic AF, so kinda pointless comparing speed between them. For payments these phones usually have another fingerprint sensor.

and yea i get your main point, basically just optimisation slightly better than 11, wondering how much faster is the new ipx as apple claimed
