i updated to IOS12.0.1

i dont know whether it just my feeling or not

from IOS11, my battery drain normally (since i always turn on the save battery on)

update to IOS12, the battery drain quite bad (even with save mode ON), usually it can last almost a day, now just few hours

eg: 100% (8am), 30%(12pm), previously 100% to 30% (8am- 3pm or 4pm like that)

normal usage (fb/insta/whatsapp/youtube)

After a couple of days on iOS 12, I updated to iOS 12.0.1 on my Xs Max, and I do feel the battery consumption isn't as good on 12.0.1 vs 12. Anyways, it's marginal at this point and could just be a placebo effect. Will monitor further and see...

I would rather have worst battery life than choppy performance. But so far no issue with my SE and 5s

Guys,

Anyone having issues in updating from iOS 12.1 public beta 5 to the official release over OTA? I've deleted the beta profile and when I checked for update it gives me iOS 12 instead and the file comes in at a hefty 2.79GB.

Not sure why it's downgrading to iOS 12 first because usually it would just update to the final release version. I've already checked the build number is not the same so I guess public beta 5 is not the same as the final release.

Just an update, I've successfully updated to iOS12.1 via OTA. Just proceed to download the update even though it states you'll be downloading iOS 12, those with iOS 12.0.1 will only get about 400mb++ update size.
