alto astro FAQ says below, windows does not work.

in general, mobile devices work, no problem.

pc/laptop windows - dun work.

generic android boxes - some work, some don't, depends on firmware.

androidtv boxes, some work, some don't.

androidtv tv - works.

so, choose a proven device to use!

yes, for wc channels, it goes from HD to SD in 30 secs, very poor - for certain devices.

but it's fine for phones and tablets.

few people got it to work on PC.
same with unifi play tv.

think they purposely built the app this way to discourage use on PC and TV's.
encourage only phones and tablets.
still, some clever people manage to get round it...

just left click on the screen to bring up task bar at screen top right.

you see the usual... I-II... click that to find subs, audio choices, if any.

for now, i think they haven't consolidating the counting rules for all devices, all versions.
new app, 4 is max for android devices, but i can still use on pc... and old version on smart tv... total 6.
however, can expect it to change once all the teething issues resolved, old version shut down.

dun think u can.

it detects HDMI connection to tv, blocks it.

however, if yr tv has chromecast, u can use laptop chrome to cast to TV.

works fine on my windows 10 chrome browser, cast to tv with built in chromecast.
