Hello,

I'm considering getting my tire changed soon, I'm currently running 17" Rims at 7.5JJ. Need some feedback on Achilles ATR Sport and Achilles ATR Sport 2.

What are you experiencing as performance and for long distance drive? THinking how the dry and wet condition performs.

I see, you tried on the ATR2 on which vehicle if you don't mind me asking. wink.gif
Sometimes I just wonder how would people define rubbish. rclxub.gif

Anyway, @leehernandez any other tyres would you recommend? Something which is the same price range and also tyres that need more budget.

@leehernandez Nexen N500o is also in my thought once, did you use that? For GodoYear Excellence, I've experienced, don't really like it when it comes to wet condition.

Sounds promising, I've been looking at the grip and lines over the ART & ATR 2 seems superb. Also, I've few club members where uses ATR & ATR2 for their car seems legit. But I'm not sure that when comes to the forum so many users saying is a rubbish tire. LOL

i would bet u can safely assured tyre quality and safety is good from indonesian manufacturer...

1- achilles
2- accelera
3- forceum

i've tested all 3....all were perfectly good and better tyre than:

1- stupig falken tyre
2- bridgedeathstone my01/my02 tyre
3- silverhardlikedaimondstone literally u will be skiing on wet road even going so slow like turttle
4- goodyear nct5 month of sidewall pregnant and vibrator dildo

achilles is ok to use. Price is cheap and performance better than some top brand middle class tires.

Agreed! Currently using ATR sp2 on my w204. 225/45/17 and 245/40/17 at the rear! I would say the performance is as good as my previous CSC 5!

atr sport 2 last time i used 235/45-17

now on accelera phi-R 225/50-17

back then always using continental contact sport 5... soft sidewall tyre.. doesnt last my driving style...

forceum i used on my satria back then during 14" wheel size...best bang of the buck...

but later i changed into 15" wheel then slapped yokohama parada spec 2.... i love e3verything...except the noise when almost bald...like semi-slick tyre noise....rain and shine no problem in handling...

probably will be looking on 225/55-17 tyre for next change... we'll see later

i think accelera phi-R seems like finish faster than atr2... not sure due to my driving style nowadays or due to tiny bit softer rubber compound...

coz can feel in wet accelera grip slightly better than atr2...

not much diff but to me got slight diff...

on dry both is similar...

in term of noise also similar...plus my car not that quiet also...
