If I were to buy this pump, it looks like it already comes with a housing and mod top. that means I only need to add on a reservoir (and possibly an o-ring) and I'm good to go is that right? btw, if you've had experience with this pump would appreciate your feedback. so far only found one review on amazon which said it's pretty powerful and quiet. not quite a d5 but it's not far off. At USD $58 + $6.40 shipping, I would want to step up and get the reputable D5 variants anyway. It makes sense in the long run to pay a bit more for reliability.
My Koolance PMP-450s's lasted 5 years running at high voltage with a PC that ran 24/7, pushing water through 480 rads with 1/2" ID piping.
Otherwise, if you're willing to take the gamble - go for it. Just confirm what size fittings go in, get a reservoir, tubing and fittings/barbs. Don't forget the waterblocks too.
Alternatively, EK make all-in-one kits now too.

D5 is in the range of 65 to 100 for the bare pump, that's before the mod top and housing which would set me back another 30, so it's at least a 100. which is why i wanted to confirm if the listing above already comes in a housing and top which it looks like it does, just wanted to confirm. I'm not considering EK, and it's probably best not to get in to the reasons why not here.

BTW when you bought the bare pump, which accessories did you need to complete the set? just a mod top and a conversion kit like these? or are there additional components to be added (other than the res)? there doesn't seem to be much info out there on the anatomy of the pump. all i see are either already put together combos or just the bare pump itself.
