I walk on average 15km to 22km in KL weekdays and able to comfortably do so without much issue. Now in between jobs I'm thinking of taking a leisure walk from one iconic modern tower to a historic tower as a challenge to myself. Estimated distance travel will be 159km.

I estimate it will take 4 nights with 9 hours of walking per day. Ideally start the journey at 7am and reach the next destination by 7pm (with rest in between)

Any advice or group that do these kind of long distance walk? For safety reasons I prefer to have a travel kaki or two to do this. Currently planning my rest stop for this journey and arranging back up plans in case massive cram or injuries suffered during the journey.

Schedule

Day 1 - KL Tower to Batang Kali (44km)
Day 2 - Batang Kali to Tanjung Malim (33.7km)
Day 3 - Tanjung Malim to Sungkai (45km)
Day 4 - Sungkai to Teluk Intan Tower (38km)

Why not just take as long as you need instead of setting a time frame. Letih rehat. Lapar makan. Boring go sight seeing. Do you plan to walk back too?

Major issue will be accommodation. Currently reviewing the accommodations available along the way to see where we can make a stop.

Not planning to walk back at the moment. Once reach Teluk Intan spend 2 nights go eat sight see then take bus back to KL.

Will take note of other stops in case we get too tired. As for night walk I think too dangerous as the road is not well lit. Better get tanned and sweat rather than get hit.

That's a very interesting plan. Just like you, I like walking long distance too.

This seems dangerous no? Higher chance of getting robbed?

Perhaps can recommend TS to walk along busy roads and streets as much as possible if you plan to walk at night.

Try Maran walk, 204km in 3 days. Is a spiritual walk. Can Google it for more information. They have it every year.
