I wonder how would the packaging of Starcraft 2 would be like collector's and non collector's edition.

Hopefully, they'll provide us a thick manual like the old Starcraft which is as good as reading a novel. Probably be great if they would include the soundtrack like the Warcraft 3 CE.

So far, their packaging has not disappoint me yet. Hopefully, the merger between both Activison and Blizzard will not influence this.

The screenies look very good almost on par with World of Conflict with a tad bit more cartoony. I always feel that Blizzard games have their own style of graphics in comparison with all the games in the market.

In addition, the screenies look as if they were design for FPS market. Hmmm, Ghost? Anyone.

It's long time coming, Starcraft 2 might just be the official 'sport' in Korea again.

Here's for hoping.

Whatever happened to the Starcraft Ghost game? The action game for PS2 or Xbox?

Also they did say doing console games was easier during that time.....that game probrably has been scrapped by now. Like the Warcraft Adventure game.

Starcraft has a huge market in Korea especially since it's their like official sport pc game or something.

I think the Pro stuff is just a bit too much to swallow.

I don't want an updated exact version of Starcraft without any new things whatsover. I want something fresh, something evolutionary.

I think Warcraft 3 was indeed a break from the usual RTS we were so used to.

Now if Blizzard could do something like that of similar would be great.

I still remember they scrapped Warcraft Adventures just because it was not up to their high quality standards.

There were numerous delayed for both Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2.

In fact, I was so eagerly waiting for Warcraft 3, I actually pre-order the Collector's Edition (which I think it is still worth it)

Cheers

I really dig the drawings from both Warcraft series and Starcraft.

I always tried to replicate them when I was young and was not successful. Actually better graphics does not excit me anymore (just like Eye candy), I rather have better gameplay anyday.

Previously, I have played the Super Robot Wars series on PS1. Graphics were just 2D and it was in Japanese. But I still managed to finish the game anyways.

The way it's going, I don't expect Starcraft 2 to be a flop.....

But I do not expect SC2 to be as big as a hit as SC.

That very much could be the case.

However, I am really anxious to find about what is going to happen next in the Starcraft Universe after the events of Starcraft 1 and its Brood Wars expansion. Has anyone bought their novel books to read? Does it further expand the setting in Starcraft?

PS I am the only one here that is really anxious to know the continuity of the Broodwar story?

Cheers

Sorry I think I forgot we actually discussed it last time.

Yeah, Blizzard games are always left with cliffhanger.

Some of the ending of their games as follows:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Which is the correct spelling for Orcs? Orks (Warhammer 40k)? Sure is mind boggling.

I have a gut feeling that Starcraft 2 won't be released this year.

Probably will have to wait till 2010 and beyond.

So far Blizzard games have yet to disappoint me. Hence, I would rather wait than have a half cooked game with terrible storyline.

And these days, crappy storyline is like a norm in PC Gaming.

Blizzard's games are always released late so I won't be surprised if this is release later than what they have announced thus far.

All I know is that I will have to pre-order the game as everytime Blizzard release a game. The stocks / inventory of that game in any shops will run out faster than hot cakes.

PC Gamer US has published some Zerg artworks in their magazine for this month.

Looks quite interesting to me.
