You will notice this when the screen full of units especially at multiplayer.
Its almost like playing UT3 with RTS game
Plus every faction has a different "feel" about them. Not to mention every unit has a special detail & disctinctive.

What i like about starcraft is the "speed" of its gameplay (100% smooth).

Blizzard don't normally introduce new elements unless they have a very good reason to do so.
With the poosible inclusion it might delay the game even longer, i hope they just develop & deliver it straight away. Just afraid that it might encountered fate like "Duke Nukem Forever" what a waste then |

I don't have a single doubt that starcraft 2 will not be released this year judging this is one of their "primary" product.
It needs countless polishing to make sure it reach the masses. Judging from the history of release date of several Blizzard games they fall between june & july in the summer. In the west this was not the best marketing period when everybody goes outdoor (where movies come big) & few go indoors (video-games) Therefore major games will normally comes in fall & winter when everybody stays indoor (due to snow) Any big games released on this point of date will generate huge sales (therefore some speculate end of december release date) Maybe Blizzard will release the date at Blizzcon later in october (they strongly implies a huge surprise) |

They hit the jackpot strategy in splitting since most of of us will buy that 3 games anyway.
In splitting if they charge cheap : we will still buy 3 thinking the price of 1 separately. In spiltting if they charge espensive : We will still buy 1 first (if we impressed) then we will buy the rest too later. I am really hoping that they copy what valve did like the orange box. |
