Bethesda has since confirmed they’re aware of the issue and said that it’ll be fixed for the retail launch. How they do that is anyone’s guess, but my own guess is that they’ll encrypt the ini file and hide it elsewhere, making modification of it unlikely.

anyone played and whats the major difference between it? or its still similar
same graphic, worst gameplay, more boring, a cash grab for unsuspecting fans.. For 2018 graphic, this game is just sad. Also, it run even worse than tree of savior, and tree of savior is garbage in fps term. Better wait after 2-3 years after they fix this game then you can play it. for rm 200+ game with even worse gameplay than that disaster ffmmo before realm reborn, it just not worth it.
Also, microtransaction for this game is expensive. 1 Power armor paint = usd20.

This game is so bad that some sites aren't even bothering to review it because none of their staff can be arsed to spend the hours playing it
QUOTE
Gerstmann’s exact quote from yesterday’s Bombcast was, “No one on staff wants to play anymore of this videogame [Fallout 76]. I’m not going to subject myself to another 20-30 hours of this [expletive] mess to just put a number on it. My number is ‘Don’t play this game’.”
By “number,” he obviously meant giving the game a score.
You know a game is bad when it goes on sale again for almost half its original price just weeks after release It's also 33% off on Beth's official site.

Some were surprised when Bethesda dropped the price of Fallout 76 to $40 for Black Friday, since the game was only released last week. If that wasn't enough of a discount for you, the price has dropped yet again—you can buy the game right now from Amazon for just $34.99.
It's definitely unusual to see a $25 drop in price so soon after a massive game is released, but the recent underwhelming reviews from critics and gamers may have something to do with that. In our review, Chris said he still had "long stretches of fun with Fallout 76," and noted that it still includes many beloved elements from previous Bethesda RPGs.
Even though many of the current in-game bugs are frustrating, $35 is a much better price than $60, and the experience will hopefully continue to improve as Bethesda fixes problems and adds more content. Maybe buy a copy for a friend and experience the bugs—both the mutated and troubling videogame kind—together.

Fallout 76 pretty much a bad luck charm for bethesda. Keep on giving fallout 76. From Trash fire, to dumpster fire to full blown wild fire.
Agreed not just bad luck more like, they don't even care about the game and their customers. Just recycle F4 and selling it as F76, shitty customer service and the list goes on and on and called it a AAA title game. Its just another shit game company now.
