Search ur cctv setting table, if u find something like P2P, set it up and u can view ur cctv for both private or public ip.
Most of the latest cctv supplier support this including dahua.
Edit: don’t forget to turn on upnp in ur router.

QUOTE(sharp56 @ May 30 2018, 11:57 AM) Thank you very much KKTECHHUB. I am not IT savvy in all these jargon like P2P, upnp, private and public IPs. Can you tell me how to set up my cctv for both private or public IPs? Some people say to use VPNs. Is this an easier solution? Thank you once again. What is the cctv model u use?

QUOTE(sharp56 @ May 30 2018, 01:24 PM) Techage Plug and Play 4CH 1080P HD Wireless NVR Kit P2P 720P 1MP Indoor Outdoor IR Night Vision Security Camera WIFI CCTV System http://www.techage.com/productscon.php?goods_id=784U can check the p2p eseecloud. I think u can enable p2p and no need port forwarding. They should provide u manual how to set it up.

QUOTE(sharp56 @ May 30 2018, 01:48 PM) Thanks again, KKTECHHUB. I am not very well verse in setting up p2p for my CCTV but I'll read and research more on this. just follow the instruction, most likely is to download one app, scan code on the cctv then you are good to go. if cannot connect, check your router and make sure no blocking on "UPNP" function. Hope it work for you.
