Hi all,

Please recommend suitable tools to disassemble rMBP. If there is a set thats long lasting and accurate tools be great.

My 4 year old notebook I think is having alot of dust and griime inside and DIY is in order.

Thanks all.

Depending on your location, just send it to a reliable and trustworthy shop to get it cleaned. Some where around RM 80.

Yeah, this is a better and more feasible option rather than buying the tools to DIY.

Yes indeed, this is a route that I might consider. Considering its price, sounds reasonable. Thanks for the tip.

I am rather a hands on person. Since this works are more like cleaning the gunk insode the notebook, I am confident that I can do it on my own, but of course I do need the correct tools for the job. Thanks.

I think u can get the tools at common store like mr diy or ace hardware. Guide at iFix according to your model.

Just need to be careful when tear it apart. Especially those ribbon cables.
