bought mine with impulse. 1st batch user for Malaysia/Asia. so far is ok. no problemo.
but my friend did report his unit fan is a bit louder when we both played the same game. he bought used unit. maybe lemon unit
now I prefer to play all my multiplatform non mp focus game on X rather than my Pro. coz the Pro is effing loud coz of the none liquid/vapor chamber cooling.
Tested it with MHW for both on Graphic mode

OG Xbox doesnt have any gears of war. only 360 & One got it.
there's Gears 1, 2, 3 & Judgement for Xbox 360 & Gears 4 for Xbox One. 5th should be next year.

Bought mine last week. Now playing Assassin Creed Unity and Forza Horizon 2 & 3. Finally AC Unity with stable frame rate. This console is so quiet... love it.

i hv a free xbox 1 x US set free. can it use in malaysia with no region restriction?

beside, it come with us plug, can i just buy any travel adapter to use with it, does it support power rating from 110V to 240v?

I'm still confused about region. Since Malaysia is not supported by Microsoft Xbox, then what region we must set? I'm just buying a xbox one s.

Xbox One S & X PSU are now built in & multi voltage like PS4. you can just easily swap the power cable with your local electrical cable.

So it will be no issue to use with local 3pin cable that buy at electrical shop right ?

Sign in to your Xbox One console.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select System.
Select Language & location.
Select your new location from the list, and then select Restart now.

but blu ray movies have region locked even on PS4 I believe. buy a dedicated blu ray player if you want region free movies.

I set it to US. some games are not available cause of licenses/law regulation. like Hitman Season 1 wasnt available at launch digitally on both Xbox One & PS4 for SEA countries. it was available until Season 1 ended. lol

Cuphead? The game is part of Xbox Play Anywhere. If you're on Windows 10, you can buy it from the Microsoft Store, and you will also get a copy on Xbox. It also works in reverse. If you buy it from the Xbox Store, you will also have it on the Microsoft Store. Cuphead is also on Steam, if you want to play on PC but don't want to get it from the Microsoft Store. Obviously the Steam version doesn't include the Xbox version.

I bought the Forza Bundle of the One X. Theres another Battlefield Bundle that comes with a Gold Rush Edition of the One X however though the unit itself a beauty but the bundled game of the Battlefield 5 is expected to disappoint.

Now waiting for my copy of RDR2 Special Edition from Amazon since it's nowhere to be found anymore here in Malaysia.

Why dont you buy a Xbox One S? it too have 4k uhd blu ray player. it cost rm899-1099 I think for basic set. either 500gb or 1tb storage

Errr... for 4K Bluray playback ability, both X & S are the same

X might have beefier hardware, but it's more on gaming only, it doesn't have much impact on bluray playback.

So just go for S if you just want a 4K Bluray player

X if you intend to game on it also

In Japan, the Xbox One S was once sold as a 4K Bluray player instead of a games console. It's more of a strategy by retailers to move units, since Xbox is virtually non-existent in Japan. The 360 era was the best for Microsoft in Japan, and even that was quite sad to see.

In terms of 4K Bluray playback, the One S can do everything the One X can do. 4K output, HDR support, and Dolby Atmos output. Of course, games play vastly superior on the One X, which is also the reason I bought it over the One S.

Just sold my ps4 pro to make place for my new xbox 1 x. Game graphic on 4k oled is far more chun and can playback 4k uhd atmos disc movies.

Welcome to the club! When I first bought the One X, the most use for it was as a 4K Bluray player. Mostly because I wanted to experience HDR on my new TV. For some reason, not too many games have good HDR implementation. I have both the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, but in most cases, I use the One X more, since 3rd party games usually look and play better on it. There are exceptions, like Tekken 7, which never received an Xbox One X enhancement.
