Experience = Once
Price = RM10k
Effect = No need to search for glasses after wake up.

Go for Lasik, no relex smile. I recommend TTDI Dr. Chua.

There are some news articles on the recent emerging side effects of Lasik. Go have a read...may stop you from trying.

i did a ton of research regarding Lasik before actually doing one. safe to say i end up having some side effects. not too bad it is still better then without lasik. firstly i had some minor power even after doing it. about 1++ in each eye. then i realized my night vision ability reduced and glare is an issue for me. now 8 years on my power has increased a lil more im at 2++ and have learnt to deal with the low vision at night. having better headlights helps heaps when driving at night. my original power pre lasik was at almost 900

I did Relex Smile last year. It is supposedly newer than Lasik and has less side effects. But be wary of the cost and ready to fork out more than RM10k. You could almost see the instant effect but I wouldn't be too excited because after I did my surgery, I still have some eyepower deficit (Less than 100). I can still see mid-range, but if I were to compare myself with a natural 20/20, I am much inferior.

The good thing is that, you can do most sports including physical sports like martial arts, tennis, futsal, running, etc without your eyeglasses getting fogged or contact lenses from dropping and losing it. It is a nice treatment, however..... still not perfect in my opinion.
