Bought a QN90A 55 inch earlier and it has been good except few problems which I find it to be poor on Samsung part. Review will be based on the quality and also the price point of the TV.

1. Good picture quality but halo effect still can be seen even with mini-led.
2. Minimal dirty screen effect for my batch. Which is good I guess with Samsung screen lottery.
3. Only ONE HDMI 2.1 ports. This is a 2021 TV yet with a 2020 problem.
4. VRR is buggy on NVIDIA graphic card as it is not G-Sync Compatible certified. Use it at your own risk if own RTX30 series.
5. Biggest gripe is review from other country is VA panel yet our Malaysia unit will have inferior ADS/IPS panel. The biggest switch and bait which until now Samsung Malaysia did not specify during the writing of this review. Photo as proof. Don't know what else Samsung did not disclose. Basically an QN85A with QN90A price.
6. Poor quality control as a foreign object can be seen between the screen and panel near the bezel as attached in photo.

Overall, for this price, it is an underwhelming experience.

p/s: Review blocked by Samsung Malaysia official page, so...

First of all , thank you for sharing the sub-pixel structure which is in line with my experience .

The un-even shape of the rectangles clearly shows this is an BOE manufactured ADS pixel structure , which means Samsung representative who claimed their TV is using VA panel is wrong about their very own product .
How pathetic .
At the same time , I have contacted Samsung spare-parts .This is the replacement product code they have given me which has once again proven they are wrong .

This is a MINI-LED , ADS / IPS based TV , not the VA type which was reviewed by Rtings.

And Samsung PR and CS or the technical team , please spend more time learning about your very own product .

To people who have accused me of being wrong , I hope the evidence is enough to clear up all the confusion .
Actually they did , via their spec sheets . Listed as " wide viewing angles "  , VA is usually listed as " Ultra wide " . They took the whole specification from Samsung HQ of Korea and UK but their CS , Technical department , PR keep telling others it is VA because what they did was googling to rtings . They don't exactly know what is the difference between two .  They have not even seen the TV I bet ya .
The 65 " I measured in homedec expo has a 2200 nits rating so it is a really bright TV . Unfortunately the black level still leave a lot to be desired .

Brightness is blinding shocking.gif and the black level is great actually due to local dimming can't be turn off.

No other choice in terms of TV to choose from since I spend times using TV as monitor as well and don't want to risk burn-in using OLED panel. Yes I know there are a lot of safety precautions built into OLED but don't want to bother babying the TV, as the TV should work for me not the other way round hehe... Plus the games I play tends to have a lot of static image icon_idea.gif I believe ADS is good for my case since it is more suitable for reading text due to the sub-pixel arrangement.

Hopefully they will accept my second review as I want to help those who thought this is a proper VA and do not falls into Samsung trap. Shame on Samsung for rejecting my review which I believe is proper.

sorry for the noob question. What kind of DSLR camera lens/settings you use to take this sub pixel structure pic?
