I came across an electric appliance chain in hone expo offer RM7.7k for Samsung S95C. Is this a bargain or a catch?

No. Confirmed is S95C.

This is the price taken during fair. Further discount to RM7200.

Then I upgraded to S95C with additional RM500.

It's brand new set, not display set. That's why I wonder is this a bargain or a catch.

The 'New' sticker mean new 2023 model.

Well, the sales assured me it’s a new unit. I will check the uptime in service menu once I got the tv in November after I move in to my condo.

Market still got LG C2? And C2 should be 8k+ few months ago.

Without EPP. I placed order S90C initially last week with RM7.2k because that’s the only OLED TV they display in the expo. And their system haven’t update with S95C price. Then this week the sales updated me that S95C RM7.7k.

Then I go for it lo.

It seems TBC have a very bad reputation. I placed order for my S95C in Home Expo on 16 Sep, then make full payment on 22 Oct. Set the delivery date to 15 Nov.
Then on the delivery date, they told me shipment delay, will send on 17 Nov. And then on 17 Nov, said Samsung delay the shipment and will deliver on Jan 2024.
Really pissed me off.

I still giving myself a hope to get the TV on Jan 2024, because the TV sell at RM7.7k. Maybe they realized sell too low, and don't want to commit.

Finally my S95C arrived after 2 months of waiting. Color so nice.

I haven't check the display time as I don't have remote, but from the box and package it seems new.
Just confirmed that from SVC menu, it's brand new S95C with 19 hours display time. Bought at RM7.7k.
But it's ridiculous long waiting time, if not because I got it at that price, I might want to refund and get S90C somewhere else.
