Received my free AU7000 from Maxis via its 3rd party vendor.

Was enjoying it for a week when the problem start in which i can't switch it on. Tried all the required actions from Samsung site but its still dead. LAter picked up by the Samsung service team and they told me need 1-2 weeks to fix it. Its 2 weeks now and still no reply.

Browsed through the net and found out about 50-80% samsung TV owner will have it. Is it true? Most of it can be corrected by holding the power button for 30 sec and changing remote battery. As for my AU7000, none can be done.

For a new TV to get spoiled just after 1 week without any accident is ranting.gif

Otherwise its really nice to see the AU7000. Maybe its because my first 4k TV. Audio a bit less powerful. May need a sound bar later.

You sure you get AU7000 from Maxis. They is no free TV from Maxis. You need paid at least RM 1 for 3 years.

2nd thing this TV sound is shockingly good where soundbar is not that required.

3rd 50% to 80% faulty? This is over accelerated and unrealistic. Where you get this statistics? Did you know the company can actually sue you by simply release false news. Also if this is the case, Samsung already get sue like nobody business and I don't think Samsung will ever manage business anymore

Just received my TV, 3 days ago. Hopefully its good for at least 2-3 years haha. Told that the problem was the LCD. Imagine sending a 60 inch LCD to fix a TV to Sabah/Sarawak. Would be better if they just replace it with a new TV. Any way...

Yes, its Rm1 per month, so its still almost free compared to the original price of the TV.

2ndly, i was asking if the statement is correct(this 50-80% thingy). You can try google or search in youtube about this problem. Quite a lot of response meaning that is NOT uncommon.

About the sound quality, I noticed a lot of difference from my old Sony TV. Relax. If its great for you, then I'm good about it. In my opinion, it would be better with a soundbar.
