Hard decision to make:
Samsung 65" OLED S85F @ RM6949 or Samsung 65" Neo QLED QN85F @ RM5194 Using it in my living room, mostly at night to watch HBO MAX, Apple TV, Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime. Samsung OS does have all these apps right? This post has been edited by Barricade: May 18 2025, 04:08 PM |

It's a bummer there's no extended warranty to purchase from Samsung. Any idea for 3rd party insurance?

 Finally saw it in Harvey Norman. Looks amazing! Sales person came and chit chat with me when I’m checking out the unit, he asked me what TV I’m using now. I told him Sony. He shake his head and say a lot of customer bought Sony came back and complain about the reliability. Ask me to try Samsung or LG instead because they hear way less complain from the Korean brand lately. |

I called Samsung today out of curiosity, they said QN3EF has a slimmer body and different stand. That's the only difference. Both panels are the same. If you're aiming MINI LED Samsung TV all these while, perhaps it's a good time to get it. Or you can wait for OLED to drop price again but I'm not sure that it will drop. Flagship OLED S95F 65” promotion is even crazier. RM11,111 and can claim RM3k TNG credit. Means you’re only paying RM8,111 for it

Harvey Norman extended warranty is top notch. Price is reasonable. Bought another S95F with them during 11.11 promo. Samsung promo respond is also quick. 3K TNG voucher approved within 2 days after submitting supporting documents.
