cant decide between the two. New CX-5 design is similar to previous gen.. Is it worth it to get a new cx5? getting used CX-5 can save some money while getting good specs. new cx-5 + front grill + red color + premium interior - pricey - legroom - bonnet used cx5 + cheap + proven + nice interior + BOSE speaker - legroom - bonnet what else? any advice? QUOTE(alcatrez @ May 24 2018, 07:20 PM) Used but under warranty. Buy full spec. Less than 3 year old problem is not easy to find used cx-5 under warranty..mazda warranty is 3 years only for prev cx-5..means i need to find from 2015 made.

better decide fast if u want new one bro
buyers have been flocking to mazda showrooms since last week and the queue is getting longer. waiting period might extend to 2-3 months and you might miss the no-tax window

Buy new car. Interest rate is lower. But I would go for a 7 seater.

Since SUV/CUV are so popular now, do you guys think UMW will bring in the new RAV4? Should we wait for it? Upcoming RAV4

Yes im talking about new one of course. I think its worth every penny of your cash. Im also booking mine with new reduced price (156k). But if you will have difficulty in finding euro 5 in your area, i would suggest you to go for 2.5. I just found myself constantly abusing the gas pedal for power when i test drove 2.0. it would affect the fc i think?

Other variants like the 2.5 petrol and 2.2d shouldn't be a problem...

Don't think the fc of 2.2d and 2.0 petrol have a huge difference plus u need to pay an additional 20k for it so at the end the 2.2d doesn't really help u "save fuel"... The fc for cx-5 (petrol and diesel) is probably one of the best in the segment My opinion is that: - for normal city driving, 2.0 petrol is enough (got budget, go for the 2.5) - if u travel most of the time, 2.5 or 2.2d is the option

The main reason i chose diesel is because i would be travelling kl-genting for about a year. I think the extra torque would help me climb. Not sure though if gas stations in genting got euro 5.

Not sure though if gas stations in genting got euro 5. Climbing up Genting on 2.2D is very easy. Easily can tar pow those NA Accord or Camry, etc. if you drive aggressive a little bit. At first I want to install paddle shift on my 2.2D, but after finding how easy to drive up to Genting, I forego that option. Considering KL to Genting is not that far, can always refuel Euro5 in KL befor your drive up to Genting. For me as I’m using Maybank Petronas Visa, I can either refuel at Petronas Taman Melati or MRR2 before the Karak Highway.
