Hi Guys, any of you who are currently VIP subscriber for china streaming site either YOUKU or IQIYI? I'm thinking about to subscribe since the price is reasonable.

i) How do you subscribe? via Alipay using local credit card?
ii) Is it worth to subscribe VIP for the content?
iii) Do they do geo blocking like Netflix?

kylintv, it has most of China TV live stations (every provinces live stations).
Can be watch not only on android box and smartphone, but also in laptop and desktop (use google chrome browser to watch).
1Mbits internet line is enough already to have smooth video playing.

Taiwan TV - FTV (民視) now can be watch in pc/laptop's web browser (for free).
Just open FTV website, https://www.ftv.com.tw/index.aspx
Once open, the live FTV main channel video will be displayed on the main page already.
To display the video in full screen click diagonal arrows logo.
It has a total of four channels that are free to watch:
(1) 民視主頻道
(2) 民視第一台
(3) 民視台灣台
(4) 民視新聞台
To watch FTV in android phone, open google play and search 民視線上, and install this apk.

Another Taiwan TV - TTV (台視) launched their android apk, called touchttv.
Under google play search touchttv and install this apk than there are many free drama series to watch.
According to TTV website, all the drama series in touchttv are free and watchable globally.
The live broadcast 台視主頻道 and 台視新聞台 will be free too watchable globally.
But I tried to open the live broadcast, it seems like there are some issues that they need to solve.
