Vios Throttle Body Problem

Hi vios member, yesterday my vios 2015 G spec suddenly stop and cannot start back. I thought is battery problem but after changed new one still cannot start. Then tow to Toyota SC. After checked, informed that the air filter got broken and some plastic pieces go into throttle body and damage the body. So now the car got high rpm around 2-3 when in N or P gear but D gear is ok. Asked about the price to change the new throttle body and replied RM3k plus. I was shocked. Anyone has this experience? Anyone can recommend some shop can repair toyota car at reasonable price?

cleaned the tb already? remove all the small plastic that jammed the throttle. else... change the tb, something like this. make sure no plastic goes into the engine. else damage even worse. btw, u use custom air filter? those mushroom ones? https://my.carousell.com/p/toyota-vios-ncp9...e%20body%20vios |

The model TB for vios 2015 is NCP 93? U sell them item? By the way my air filter is nornal type. |

Air filter if normal, and you did your service at official SC, you may have a case. Claim that their official air filter is fake lousy dangerous etc
No I don't sell. Try look for second hand tb.

a quick look out at mudah reveals a second hand one selling for 200 bucks
