Where is the best (chepest) place to buy Benq laptops? I seemed to like their specs and price.

I do hope john, do keep some extra stocks.. hehe.. i am interested in the Benq S41 too but I don't wanna rush into anything. Prefer to touch and feel the laptop first before buying it. You get what i mean right?

by the way john... does it come with a dvd burner or dvd/cd combo burner.. can't give more details about the optical drive?

I FOUND A PROBLEM!!!
I just wanna point out one thing after i installed the camera driver from the CD. I can't shut down my computer or restart properly. I am using Window XP SP2.."special" version. I uninstalled the camera driver then everything is ok again. Everything else is cool... just maybe the battery life lor.. Running my S41 on top of a zalman cooling pad now... heh. |

because OEM license are specifically for the usage of one machine. You can't install it to other machine eventhough you have already uninstalled it from the first machine. That's my understanding towards OEM license. Correct me if i am wrong.,

I have something to ask about the laptop battery. Is it better to remove it when I am using AC power? I heard it will shorten the batteries life if I am using AC power while it's fully charged already..

i can say most of the things are useless... those apps that comes with the name benq all pretty useless.. just the function key screen is abit useful.. when it indicates the things that are turned on or off

i an running pcsx2 on s41 for Final Fantasy X... so far so good.... using zerogs graphic plugin.. Can use AAx4 most of the time with Bilinear filtering turned off... but for smoother display, just turned on BF and off the AA.. you can't use AA when they showing FMV anyway or you will see lines of weird distortion.
