lol ..i am also not picking a fight here too... i only hope you guys understand that he had already learn his lesson and that is it ..there is no need to keep mentioning that he is selling things here and there .. the first time i knew John_jay2 ..he had already stated he works as a notebook seller and i guess it is his work that made him like to promote himself. But he never forced anyone, so if any forummer can either take it or think at it as spam...
lol ..since you are also knoe some forummers never change ..they dun read the first post ...we can see that in many threads where the first post had tons of info on that particular lappy plus where to dl the drivers and pricing ..forummers would still ask the same questions again and again lol .. what to do, if i free then i also try to answer lo hehe ... so i view john_jay2 also as a frendly and helpful person when try to answer any enquires although he sometimes do really promote himself lol ..

hey anyone of you seen the lappy S41 first hand? since LowYat.net had already posted it rite..
Sure, I know he's a seller, there are a few sellers around here as well. It's perfectly fine for him to post stuff regarding how the thing works, where to buy, and stuff like that, perfectly fine, nobody is going to refute that.
It's the part of encouraging people to buy that is wrong IMHO. You said we can all regard it as being spamming, but that is stepping into the line of starting the sales thread. By promoting himself, he can be regarded as trying to sell stuff. Piece of advise, tell this to John, stop promoting himself, stop encouraging people to buy etc. etc, anything other than that, I doubt he's going to get into trouble.
And that's my say about this topic, I rest my case.
To avoid OT, there are benchmarks of the Zepto with a 8600M GT outhere, but yeah, the BenQ is using a 8600M GS so the performance, as I read from various sources, says it's going to be a little bit better than the x1700/7700.
As to the BenQ CS, I don't know how far as they progressed. Back in the end of
2006 2005, my friend bought a BenQ laptop, had a problem with it, bring the thing all over Lowyat Plaza asking for someone to fix it, and everyone refused. Hopefully this kind of thing can be avoided with that service center in LYP.
