Is it me or the Dark Elder in the demo seem a little overpowerful in the vehicle, infan and magic abilities? I mean the soul abilities u can cast.

I should hope so... cause the demo was for campaign mode... i dont know if they r that powerful in MP mode... n if they r then the Sisters probably be just as bad...

I think thats the starting units with the purple circle... did u check if it applies to units that u create?

Added on February 14, 2008, 11:38 amIt looks like DE is total anti infan n vehicle. They got units to deal with both n some units that can handle both at the same time. Infiltration is also a non issue with the Piercing spell that they can cast on any unit.

Was playing it... surprisingly with all the DE abilities they can stand toe to toe with the SM forces..

Ahh those changes n Tau gets the beeotch stick.....

That would explain why DE didnt have a prob with SM in battle one with infan...

Air units r semi protected against 'ground' units. So far i see that tanks n other units that have weapon long range can hit air units. Those that have short ranges r SOOL.

Great... love those SM rushes Tau!!

Want new ground units? Play the Sisters n the DE All new there.

Actually, DS works great on infan... pretty worthless on vehicles n buildings... tried it... not much damage...

Dais is super fast... good for getting there to kill vehicles with its default weapons... n infan with its Death Sabre (light sabre).

Added on February 15, 2008, 2:53 pmAdd 2 Ravagers with with 1 gun upgraded n u got 3 mofos that kill buildings, infan and vehicles n if u're lucky the Dais shield should be able to protect 1 of the Ravagers from ranged weapons.
