it's finally happened. any of our live modded buddies encounter this already? can they confirm this is in effect?

I'm modded, can still connect to Live.
I'll put off playing online for the time being, not that I play online on Live most of the time anyway
Oh, and I heard legit consoles were getting banned as well by mistake. GG MS.

Maybe bcoz of coming soon of Pirate of Caribean movie

the ban started early this morning only

Like all the modders will tell you "we can always flash back to original firmware one" So.. out of all those people who say that they are unmodded and got banned

- How many reflashed to original firmware?
- How many bought modded box without knowing?
- How many actually unmodded?

Why unmodded also get banned ? Not understand....

Like I mentioned it might not be unmodded at all. Just chill and play if you're legit and you bought ur box first hand from a reputatable store that didn't lie to you that the box is not modded.

Those are just words. I used to be like them, acting innocent infront of Microsoft. It doesn't work. MS ran the check on my xbox few times and the code tell the truth.
So after 5-7 times of getting ban and changing my console ID.
I gave up, got myself a new clean unmod xbox. Save the hassle.
*the above are xbox 1 scenario, not xb360.

I bet those are the people who flashback to ori firmware and try to get away with it by bluffing microsoft.
If it's really the case unmod xb360 getting ban, you would have seen youtube video or news all over the place with facts to back it up.

Anyway, you play ori or pirated games? Usually it takes 1 day to get ban. If you play ori i think chances of you surviving this is quite high because xb360 mod now are just firmware mod, not modchip.

use modchip 100% safe probably becos u din touch the firmware..

i mean if u activate modchip for backup games, and when wanna play live, get ur ori game and deactivate modchip. When u deactivate modchip, the console firmware is untouched, which those who flashed them also kena caught becos of this. Just be sure to play ORI for LIVE.

I have some ori games, more pirated though
Even if I get banned, I won't mind that much. Most of the games I play are Single-Player anyway.

No, last time i use modchip it's not safe at all. You get detect easily, the best is go on steatlh mode/turn off the modchip.
Still, we can't play with pirated copies of game. Must be original game.

So my guess on current banning works by detecting backup games, not firmware. Until we get more update from the scene, it's really hard to tell.

The last game you play is pirated or ori? If pirated...do let us know tomorrow. Usually it takes 12 hours sharp to get ban (if it's like the old time Yes, i count everytime)

There isn't a mod chip nowm it's always a flash on the drive's firmware.

Haha, last game I played was R6V pirated. Before that was Live Arcade games and Enchant Arms ori.

wrong, there is a modchip so u din touch ur drive firmware at all..

well for me i dont play it via Online ( Xbox Live )..most of the time i played it on my own and sometimes when my girl or friends ( which is xbox360 owner ) came to my place then it will be more fun play it together....

the reason is simple my internet connection in my area always keep on DC ! so why should i play it via online.....STREAMYX always like that...

what ever it is i just love my Modded Xbox360
