If you ask me, the G card first.

Although after the G card, the Processor (along with mainboard and RAM) must go as well =D

It's equivalent to i3-6100 by today's standards: Barely enough for gaming.

Whats your expected monitor resolution for the next 3 years? =D

If you're sticking with 1080p for the next 3 years, then at least a GTX 1060 6GB. Recommend GTX 1070Ti.

If you wan keep your G card for 5 years, or will want to game on a monitor or TV that has 4K display,
then GTX 1080Ti is the only way to go.

That being said, if u wan buy the 1080 Ti, then wait a few more months for the next Gen card from nvidia,
which is ROUMOURED to launch by july.
This will bring prices of 2nd hand 1080Ti down.

Another note:
-Standard 2K display : GTX1080
-2k 144hz display, : GTX1080Ti or better

Get 2nd hand cards from Lowyat forums =D

Worth every penny.

Tbh, i dont see 4k will be a thing until year 2020. It will be much cheaper in the future. Basically, 1060 (3 years of gaming) with 1080p monitor. or 1080ti with 4k res monitor correct? haha..

Personally i've used a 1070 before changing to 1080Ti (will be going for the NEW 1180 if significant perf diff),
on my Sony 4k TV (Check my signature).

GTX 1070 with 1080p 60FPS reso, can max out any game, EXCEPT for games with gameworks (example: Assasins creed black flag).
Metro 2033 also dips to 50fps rarely, but not significant enough to be of concern.

Gameworks take a significant toll on GPU, so about 50'ish FPS if max. (60++ if others max, gameworks medium though =D)

Now using 1080Ti, at 4k, obviously Max settings cannot 60FPS for triple A titles, but close enough (Low 50s).

Standard to low end games 4K more than 60FPS alll the way.

If money no object, i would recommend the following:

1080p, GTX1070Ti
2K or Wide format, GTX1080Ti.

Anything else is just a compromise (but not a large compromise, albeit with a significant savings to the wallet)

Haha money can save better ma, of course its an object somehow.. tbh I don't really play single player games like assassin creed .. I play mostly overwatch, pubg, Dota and sometimes new MMOs I'll try out .. not heavy games.. what's the price differences anyway?

Between

1080p, GTX1070Ti

and

2K or Wide format, GTX1080Ti.

Moreover, I have to change motherboard, upgrade ram maybe higher and heard SSD is important? When I built my pc, no such thing as SSD yet I think haha

1st and foremost : GET THAT SSD!!!!
It will be a world of difference before u upgrade anything =D
(Does nothing for FPS while gaming though =D)

Based on your feedback, the GTX1070Ti will last you a long time.
2nd hand about RM2k.

Yup, at least plan an SSD as boot drive.

for game storage, HDD is mostly sufficient.
