Queries a jpeg sig

hi everyone. noob question here i guess
 anyways, my friend made me a 'sig' and its jpeg. when i go to the signature settings under my control how do i add it? if i use imageshack it'll be a link right? how do i make it so its just a sig there like everyone else's? thanks  |
