i've own both kawa 150 super kips and 250R 2008. All i can say is Super kips is much more fun with 190km/h top speed. 250R can only hit around 170++.. but have a superbike look. next, gonna be ZX6!
btw, here's the pictah: ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by ridox_orimabu: Jul 31 2010, 08:11 AM |

my previous zx150r can go max 200kmh, only cat converter removed. but sadly the actual speed was only 175kmh. i still consider its fast enough for bike like that. those kips that raced in kawa cup can go until 240kmh if i'm not mistaken, minus 25 you still get 215kmh which is as fast as an er6

My GPZ500S can go 180km/h but not for a long time as there is always that moronic lorry which will cut into my fast lane, as if trying to kill me. Those b@stard lorry drivers all can got rot in helll!

My Honda Wave 100 can go max 100kmh on my meter. Heard a lot of people say the speed shown is faster than actual. So actual speed is how fast?

QUOTE(T600 @ Jan 5 2012, 11:04 AM) My 09 R1 at once hit 299kmh, it's downhill that help.. your R1 what year/model? i thought R1 can reach 300++kmj huhunow tops out 276kmh only on flat straight... it is bad to push the bike that hard, after those top speed attempts, I found small oil leaked on the screws near the clutch cover again due to engine stress... |

QUOTE(T600 @ Jan 5 2012, 12:56 PM) year 2009, top speed sucks, tried many times barely hit 270, only one time on the way to airport, downhill, go almost full throttle on 5th gear then 6th, full tuck, 299 for like 3 sec then okay that's enuf for today lolzz... Dafuq.... Tot All 1k cc sbk can reach 299 km/h... How come ur bike sohard to even reach 270 ++Izzit coz of the crossplane engine ? Truly I'm surprised mang!! |

QUOTE(T600 @ Jan 5 2012, 02:07 PM) mine is US spec, I think it is because of that... Found this... i think all can reach 299 la...all attempts by using mode A somemore lol... every bike go above 240km is too fast anyway... Maybe ur bike need Powahh Commander.... BTW, Crossplane really sound like a Vtwin indeed... (Maybe a little bit)..... |

QUOTE(T600 @ Jan 5 2012, 02:20 PM) I need a better helmet to do that, coz everything seems blurred after 220kmh, and the R1 in the video is EU spec with no restriction... it has the immobilizer LED on the dashboard... 7 hp different if not mistaken... Maybe ur bike got speed cut ? Coz old R1 & old sbk that have far lesser hp than ur bike, managed 299.... But then, i'll be happy with 200-220.... |

QUOTE(T600 @ Jan 5 2012, 05:25 PM) newer R1 with x-plane i4 engine produces lesser HP compare to older traditional i4 R1, 2009 R1 reportedly weighs more and less powerful(HP) than the previous model... Actually i favour bike that has good handling & good in-gear acceleration... So I think u made the right choice.... I can't safely use all the power either bike produces anyway 09 is a bike that built for track, it's top speed isn't so great That's why for me I favour 600cc Sportbike coz theyare nimble & light weight.... |
