For 135LC riders, there are some slight variations among 3 generations:

generation 1: top speed @ 180kph
generation 2: top speed @ 160kph
generation 3: top speed @ 160kph (clutch type)

The first generation has higher top speed because the speedometer is very inaccurate. I've double checked with the chief technician in Hong Leong Yamaha. After that I do an experiment with friend with 1st generation bike. When his meter reached 130+kph, my 2nd generation LC is only at 120kph.

I have a list of computation on 2nd gen LC speedo vs actual speed. In conclusion, it is about 20% off from the actual top speed from 60kph onwards.

1st generation LC produced till when? so is this means the top speed between all generations is still the same but only the speedo reading is different (in other words 1st gen speedo is inaccurate) ? hmm.gif
