I was first diagnosed at 19 and recently recovered from mental illness.I first thought I would never recover and my future is doom. After 8 years of suffering, and with help from people around me and myself,I am recovering/recovered.Now I won’t think that my problem or life issue like work stress and social relationship is because of my mental health,it still has its effect but really not as much.I find my way to recover through years of suffering and experience. Now I don’t take meds but find coping method and lifestyle changes.

Anyway,I am thankful towards my psychiatrist,my case manager that served me for 4 years, the hospital that allow me to take meds and host support group.I am especially thankful to all my immediate family members, although I don’t know what might happen with them, but I want to make good relationship with all my family members.

I was always hateful towards, mental illness, psychiatrist, mental health stuff. Now I try to take a different perspective, these years I have grown mature a lot because of it.So,I am thankful for all these and hope I will make a complete recovery(miracle) and move on towards life.

Glad to hear that you have recovered from mental illness.

First of all congrats on recovering. I have a series of questions, which I hope you can answer it for me.
1. May I know what medication did you take?
2. Is there any withdrawal effects when you did not take medication?
3. How do you change your lifesytle?

Hi TS,
1st of all i'm glad you have recovered.
I think i had similar case as yours, mind if you answer some question? it would help me tremendously.
I always thought i could cope,i'm strong, but seem like i really can't and its getting worse.
After seeing your thread,i would like to give it a try.

1 - How much does it cost roughly for a month of Consult Session and medication?
2 - Does medication really help? those depression and anxiety just poof gone?
3 - Do you still feel any minor stress sometime?
4 - Do you feel uncomfortable during consulting? Do you have any advice if you have one?

Thanks TS!

Mobc1990 was once active in forum.schizophrenia.com. If it was him, he looks like a physically fit guy with good commands of English.
All the best to you, Mobc1990. Please keep an eye out since you have stopped taking medication altogether.
